Grand Central Terminal
作為一個旅遊景點和的travel中途站
像Kings Cross St Pancras一樣,座擁五花八門的食市
其中歷史最悠久之一的便是Grand Central Oyster Bar
當我在research哪裡有出色的seafood時,
GCOB came up as an "old school Oyster Bar" that remains a local favourite
甫步入餐廳,進入眼簾的是紅白格子枱布和橙黃色的燈光
懷舊中帶點輕鬆的感覺
特意邀在紐約升學的好姊妹來吃個暢快
Today's menu 上的菜式非常多,看得我眼花撩亂
冷熱生熟樣樣皆有,it's like a classic seafood bible
由seafood stew到grilled tuna steak,到fish and chips到lobster roll
當男友和友人在喝湯時我才好不容易的作出抉擇....

因為這個湯蠻thick的關係 (and it's cold),我嚐的時候有在吃salsa般的感覺...
All locally sourced (ie within the states), not bad overall
but still nothing compared to the ones in France...
Mains
Grilled Tuna steak with vegetables (~$28)
男朋友的protein補品哈哈哈
Personally 我認為 tuna steak 很少可以烹調得很出類拔萃
除了toro外我一般也絕少會吃吞拿魚
這是近來吃過較好一點的.

Fried New Bedford Sea scallops with tartar sauce and French fries ($25.95)
薄薄香酥的麵衣,甜美肥大的scallop
This is as good as it can go really.
potato bun軟綿綿的 (說實吃不出這和一般的熱狗包有可分別hmm...),
配上份量十足且perfectly seasoned的龍蝦肉(不用我起殼真好!)
簡單卻滋味極了
coleslaw也很出色,沙律醬的比例剛好,不會太膩
加上一支白酒,三人買單好像是~$210
