[LDN] 最受歡迎的...Clos Maggiore

期待而久的clos maggiore!
這個reservation是我兩星期前book的,有夠誇張loll。



focaccia絕對好吃! 重濃的cheese味帶點tomato香。
反而brown bread就沒什麼特別。



Ballotine of Loire Valley Rabbit & Foie Gras
mushroom salad with hazelnut vinaigrette
dc的appetizer. 對兔肉有保留... 但我試了一大口!
肉味並不濃,有點像turkey or chicken之類的白肉。
foie gras不像一般的..口感在點似海膽。
dc說好吃。我有偏見哈!



Escabeche of Cornish Mackerel
我的魚:) 很好吃。
底層是迷你版ratatouille loll 配basil & olive oil.
ratatouille很清新,材料都切成小粒粒的很易吃heh



Pan Fried Fillet of Sea Bream
spatzle (small flour dumplings from germany) & shellfish

hehe對又是魚。皮煎得好香脆啊...魚肉則好鮮嫩
配菜是一堆spatzle跟shellfish.
spatzle是用蛋跟麵粉造成的dumplings(蟲蟲形的)..
味道濃郁! sauce跟食材的味感實在混為一體,一流。



Roasted Saddle & Slow cooked belly of Elwy Valley Lamb
Chickpea & Herb Croquette, Light Lamb Jus (sauce)


這個羊肉確實晶瑩。
紅肉沒試,但憑肉眼都能判斷其tenderness loll...



很多杯子...餐前點了champagne,席間dc當然又無酒不歡。
初嘗了tempranillo,未懂品評,但喜歡其葡萄味。
甜品有fraisier with lemon curd ice cream和
vanilla cheese cake with apple marmalade and green apple sorbet.
款式簡單無花巧但兩個都做得很出色。
濃滑的cheesecake甜度恰當,
fraisier(strawberry cake)難免較甜,但平日不喜歡白蛋糕的我都有完成! :)

go for the tasting menu. its worth it

food alone was like £40 or 50 only?
but drinks doubled the billllll
